Leukostrip for closing of skin wounds
Often a skin wound is stitched or stapled at first. By replacing the stitches with Leukostrip after only a few days, the change of the wound healing nicely increases. Leukostrip brings both skin edges together and lets the wound heal nicely. Leukostrip can be used directly on the wound, or as an extra support, for example when using staples.
Leukostrip is made of elastic material and will stretch in case of a swelling. When de swelling reduces, it will take its original form, without losing any of its support.
Leukostrip is made of polyamide and has a hypo-allergenic, adhesive layer that is very strong. The material is permeable for air and water vapor. Leukostrip is available in the following sizes:
- 13 x 102 mm (6 strips)
- 6,4 x 102 mm (5 strips)
- 6,4 x 76 mm (3 strips)
- 4 x 38 mm (8 strips)
