PhysioParts (hereafter ‘PhysioParts’ or ‘we’) uses cookies en comparable techniques. In this statement, we will update you on our privacy policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of data that are downloaded to your computer or mobile device when you visit a website or application. This data can be accessed during a following visit to the website or application.
PhysioParts uses cookies for different purposes. This data ensures an optimization of the website, it analyses how the website is used, the pages that are visited, previous and next websites that are accessed, the length of your visit and gives you a better, more personalised experience, including adverts. Cookies are placed when visiting the website.
Cookies are safe. This entails that no personal information can be traced.
Apart from cookies, PhysioParts uses web beacons. Web beacons are small hidden images that can help us measure the visits and use of our webpage. JavaScript is also implemented. JavaScrips is software that is placed on the peripherals and is executed from these peripherals. By executing this software, the whereabouts on the website and the taken actions of the customer can be determined. JavaScript helps us get a better idea of our customers’ behaviour. The goal is to optimise our website and its content and to steer our advertisements in the right direction.
Hereafter, all cookies and similar techniques will be referred to as ‘cookies’.
Which type of cookies does PhysioParts place?
Functional cookies
Functional cookies save information concerning the choices that are made by visitors. The goal is that a next visit to the website can be made easier and the products that are chosen are kept in the shopping cart. These cookies do not require the consumer to give permission.
Analytical cookies
These cookies are used in order to analyse how our website is used, i.e. how often our website is visited, on which page you enter our website and which pages are clicked on most frequently. Google Analytics is used for this purpose. Google stores the analysed data in the United States. Google can give this information to a third party when legally required or when this party is processing the data commissioned by Google.
We don’t have any influence on this. What we did do, is taken measures to protect your privacy: we have signed one processor agreement with Google, we mask the last octet of the IP address and we did not give Google permission to use the gained information for other Google-services, apart from Google Doubleclick and Google analytics Audiences. This last one only when you have given your permission.
No permission is needed for clear Analytical Cookies. This is because we only process very limited information, that is not privacy sensitive. This information contains:
- IP address (masked);
- Used browser, operating system, language settings, type of device, etc;
- Visited pages and times when they are visited;
- Used links to land on our pages;
- Used links on our websites that lead to external websites;
- Downloaded files;
- Other details, like screen resolution and the speed of the website.
Advertisements / profiling cookies
When you have given permission for this, PhysioParts keeps track of how many and which advertisements you have seen from PhysioParts or third parties that are shown through our website. In other words, your surfing behaviour is kept track of. With these cookies, it is possible to let the offer on this website or the websites of third parties meet with your interests. In other words: We can show you targeted advertisements from PhysioParts.
We use Doubleclick and Doubleclick Ad Exchange (Google). This service lets us gain information based on former visits to our website or other websites on the internet. In this process, an alias (ID) is appointed to your browser to control which advertisements are shown in your browser and which advertisements are called for. The cookies contain no personal related information. Google can share this information with a third partie. This only will be done in case of a legal requirement or when processing ordering information.
We also use Google Dynamic Remarkteting. With this remarketing cookies, we can show advertisements to visitors of our website. These advertisements are tailored to the products or services that the visitor has already looked at.

Finally, we place cookies to offer our livechat and our ticket system and make it easier for you to use them.

What if you don’t want any cookies?
When visiting our website, we ask your permission to place tracking and complex analytical cookies. Besides this, you can unsubscribe form cookies to change the browser settings so that no cookies are stored at all. It is also possible to remove all the information that is stored in your browser via the browser settings.
