The Cefar Tens from Chattanooga is part of the new generation of portable TENS devices. The existing technology of the Cefar Primo Pro has been further developed and additional functions have been added that combine TENS and NMES treatment, whereby only one device is needed. This has led to the arrival of the Cefar Tens.

TENS takes care of:

The Cefar Tens combines TENS and NMES to reduce pain and restore muscle. The device is intended for both health professionals and patients. By a good explanation and supervision of the professional in practice, the patient can then perform the treatment independently at home. The Cefar Tens is therefore easy to use. Various functions of the device allow parameters to be set and this allows the professional to easily follow the patient's progress.

Because treatment with the Cefar Tens can be performed at home, the patient is less dependent on the health professional. Another advantage is that the patient will have a short recovery period and as a result will experience less pain and greater mobility faster.

1+1 function

The Cefar Tens has two independent channels which can be set separately. The same program can be switched on on both channels, but also two different programs at the same time. This makes it possible to combine NMES and TENS, which results in a more effective treatment.

Program mode

In total, a maximum of five tuned programs can be set with the Cefar Tens and specific parameters can be selected. This can be coordinated in advance by the health professional. The patient can then use the Cefar Tens and later there is always the option to adjust the settings.

The Cefar Tens has a locking function so that the patient always uses the right program and not accidentally a wrong one.

Monitoring

The health professional can easily monitor the treatments that the patient performs at home. The Cefar Tens can be reset prior to the treatments and this provides insight into how many hours the device is being used.

Acupuncture mode

The Cefar Tens can also be used to perform electro-acupuncture treatment when the device is connected to acupuncture needles. This is very effective in reducing pain and makes you feel more comfortable. This treatment can only be performed by a professional. The needles are also not included with the purchase of the Cefar Tens.
