Baseline BIMS Digital Pinch Dynamometer
5-position pinch handle assures proper fit for testing and allows for the 5-position pinch strength tests, which can accommodate all hand types for accurate and repeatable pinch strength measurement. The results and real-time test data are displayed on the large OLED display. Battery-powered storage data for immediate recall. The instrument has Bluetooth enabled. The maximum value (peak value) is displayed for each scan. Calculate and display the average (mean), standard deviation (SD), and coefficient of variation (CV) of each scan series. The result can be switched from lb to kg.
Different models of the Baseline BIMS Digital Pinch Dynamometer:
- Functional model:Live Test shows real time and maximum (peak) value. test result is not recorded.
- Deluxe model: Live Test: shows real time and maximum (peak)value. test result is not recorded.Quick Test: shows real time and maximum (peak)scan value during set time duration. test result is recorded. GST (General Strength Test): 3 consecutive scans at the same grip level (peak, mean, SD, COV). RET (Rapid Exchange Test): requires 6 alternating hand scans at the same grip level. MMVE (Modified Maximum Voluntary Effort Test): 5-grip position test requires: 5 scans per hand; 1 at each grip level. MVE (Maximum Voluntary Effort Test): 5-grip position test requires: 5 scans per hand; 3 at each grip level. And got a Fatigue (Work Test): requires one extended time scan. Permits comparison of total work (strength exerted) over two or more user defined time periods.
- Clinic model: for use by practitioner. Live Test: shows real-time and maximum (peak) value. The test result is not recorded. Quick Test: shows real-time and maximum (peak) scan value during set time duration. the test result is recorded. GST (General Strength Test): 3 consecutive scans at the same griplevel (peak, mean, SD, COV)
